Booked a double room, it was absolutely amazing our own private bathroom and a view of the lake from the top floor it was absolutely stunning, in an amazing location too, close to the bus stop, the shops and surrounded by tons of businesses to get a drink or some food

After reading a lot of negative reviews i was surprised how nice the place was, clean, friendly helpful staff, well stocked kitchen with pots pans plate microwave etc etc and wasn't that noisy 😀

This place was extremely well-located within Taupo. Large car park just beside it and right in the midst of lots of good restaurants and a <2 minute walk to the lake. Staff friendly. Bed was comfy and appreciated the fan in the room.

It was a hot night, with the window open we were deafened by the music and chatter from the bar, with the window open there was still not enough ventilation, with the bedroom door open and the window open, earplugs in, it was cooler but that's hardly safe with the drunk people staggering back to their rooms late at night. A wee fan would have been great to get some air flow. Otherwise all as expected. 😉
