I stayed for 1 night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Room was superb value, comfy bed and plenty of space.

Unfortunately there was no breakfast option, but I chose to take my evening meals in the restaurant. Very nice Thai food and attentive staff. There is a general store nearby that provides breakfast rolls, food boxes etc but you have to walk a little way out of the village really. (Past the bus stops and under the subway if you need to know). Bishop's Lydeard itself is a very pretty rural village and I would have loved a longer stay. Buses between Taunton and Minehead stop at the village and it's a particularly pleasant ride to Minehead, with various points of interest along the way. Buses to and from Taunton were pretty crowded. The steam railway between the village and Minehead is well worth a look.

Excellent location for what I needed to do. Excellent thai meal in the evening. Very good sleep in a quiet, clean room with an effective shower..

Right in the heart of the village. Historical pub. I did not get a chance to try the food but will do next time. The landlady was very kind and helpful. I was there for work and I will book here again.

The evening meal was excellent as was the service. All the staff including Sarah were very friendly and efficient. I did not know much about Thai food but the menu was very clear and explanatory. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The only slight reservation I have is that the floor of the room was uneven but what can you expect in an old building!

Lovely room. Large car park. Excellent location for visiting nearby West Somerset Railway. Thai cuisine fans should be happy!
