Comfortable bed and pillows, good quality towels and toiletries. Excellent breakfast choice and very well priced evening meal. The staff and owners were extremely friendly and professional.

The landlord and landlady were welcoming and helpful. The bar staff were excellent and were friendly and attentive, The pie I had for supper was arguably one of the best I have ever had. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, The ale was well kept. I loved the old ambience of the building but also liked the modern additions such as a fridge for fresh milk for tea and coffee making in rooms. An outstanding Inn. Thankyou to all who made it such a special stay.
