I don’t really know where to start so I’ll just keep it brief, a colleague and I stayed at the Farmers Arms for a week, the staff, the rooms, the food, the fire, the Guinness were all fantastic, would I stay there again? YES with no hesitation.

At the end of a very long, tiring day, the friendly greeting, hospitality and kind consideration of the hosts is just what was needed. Large comfortable room. Crisp clean bedding. Quiet countryside location. I didnt arrive in time for dinner but the freshly cooked breakfast was very nice.

Everything great. The landlady and landlord were great, staff great the pub had a good local feel. Food was so tasty. Lamb shank OMG. Room was so comfy, clean, warm. A real credit. Real log fire, Sport and Guinness was lush. Well done all at the farmers arms. DL.

Lovely size room, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and accommodating we had to have breakfast earlier than stated and they were very happy to help with this the breakfast was very nice.

Lovely traditional English country pub. Very clean and lovely spacious room. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. As we were arriving late they called to see if we’d like a roast dinner (Sunday stay) saved! And it was delicious. Great breakfast too. The best bit after our long drive was a drink on the sofa by the log fire. Couldn’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back, but for 2 nights this time.

Me and my partner spent the night here and it was fantastic. On arrival the staff were incredibly welcoming (but not overbearing) and the bar has a very welcoming feel with some great locals! The room was really cozy, warm with an amazing deep bath! Perfect stay for people wanting to visit the area would absolutely go again.
