I stayed at the Simma Hotel & Spa for one night because of a layover in Tashkent. It was a very enjoyable stay. First of all they sent a taxi out to the airport to wait for me (for free). The taxi journey back to the airport the next day was also free. The room and the bathroom at the hotel was big and spotless. There was a welcome plate of nuts, apricots and raisins waiting there. I slept very comfortably. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, eggs to your liking freshly prepared. Then there was the pool, hammam and sauna area which I enjoyed thoroughly. And last but not least all of the staff were very friendly. The hotel is a bit on the outskirts of town so if you want to enjoy the places of interest in Tashkent you could walk to the nearest metro station a few minutes away or take a Yandex taxi. Next time I am in Tashkent I will make sure to stay at this hotel again. Thank you.

We like Simma a lot - this is our 2nd stay there. The staff are friendly and helpful - although, since I had 3 bookings I think it left them a bit confused when it came to payment. The rooms are clean, and well made. Huge breakfast selection. The reason we come, though, is for the pool. Great pool, sauna, and exercise area! However, this is now segregated - male and female, which wasn't the case when we first came a couple of years ago. This helps with overcrowding, but since I was looking forward to time with my husband, left me quite alone and sad - so not good for couples or families, I guess. But it was good for swimming laps and getting exercise.
