Hotel Overview

The Moorish-style Hurricane Hotel faces onto the beach in Tarifa, southern Andalucia. It offers views of the Straits of Gibraltar, 2 swimming pools and a restaurant.
All rooms in the Hurricane Hotel have air conditioning and central heating, as well as a minibar and safe. Some rooms have sea views.
The hotel has a gym and sauna, and also arranges yoga classes and massage. It also has its own stables, and horses can be hired to explore the surrounding area.
The Hurricane’s restaurant uses produce from its own garden, homemade pasta and local fish and seafood. It also offers charcoal-grilled meats.
In front of the hotel is a spot for surfers, as well as a surf school. Just 2 km away is Valdevaqueros Beach. The hotel is just off the N-340 road.

the restaurant was outstanding. beds and pillows comfortable but the duvet was so hot. reception was very good

Although it is only rated 2* it could easily have been 4*. Everything is wonderful, only those who appreciate the small details see the potential of this place. For dinner you have to book a table, but you only gain if you do, the food is exceptional.

Wonderful staff and a wonderful location, so relaxing and great facilities for sports and relaxation. Restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and evening dining.

We loved everything about this hotel. It’s not the first time we have been to the Hurricane, tho it’s been many years since we last visited. With many good changes in the interim, it’s a delightful place to spend time, and the staff are all friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The food is wonderful, very tasty. The gardens are lush, tropical and beautiful. The hotel is welcoming to dogs, too, as we were able to bring our dog, and she slept in the boys’ room on her bed from home.
