The communal terrace is for all guests to relax and enjoy. It opens at 9am and closes at 11pm. It is also used for yoga classes for around 1 hour per day, but you are welcome to enjoy the terrace at the same time respecting the class.
Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the hotel.During your stay the entire group must respect the other guests and accept the terms and conditions.

We stayed at Hostal Africa for 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. The hostal is in a great location with a quiet environment and great view from the terrace and has nice offers like yoga sessions that you can easily join. The staff was very kind and helpful. Thanks for a great time in Tarifa!

The overall atmosphere, the staff, the location in the cosy old town and the rooftop is for sure one of the best places I’ve stayed. Highly recommend to everyone that wants a nice stay in Tarifa!! Focus on holistic health with yoga, breath work etc which made it have that extra for the guests

The hotel was incredibly nice. The room was very clean and well taken care of! The staff was very friendly and helpful, whenever I had questions about the room or otherwise. I would say the pictures don't do justice to the room I was staying in ("the Apartment"). The views from the private terrace were great and I spent a lot of time sunbathing / eating / chilling there. I stayed there for 10+ days and could not have wished for a better place. Overall greatly recommended.

The hostal had a great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great host in Fenton. Great shower. The roof terrace was a bonus. It was good to have use of a well equipped kitchen. Location was good in centre of town but very quiet. Hope to return.

Verry clean spacious room the property was full of life, plants everywhere it has a lot of character. The hostel also was in thee heart of Tarifa, perfect location. I was with my daughter on saturday night and it was verry quiet and peaceful.

Woow, what a dream hostal. Its just a heaven of serenity in old town tarifa. There are 3 yoga sessions a day, the owner and especially the manager Lilla are super nice. You really feel relaxed from the moment you enter the door till its time to go. Definitely would come back here. The terras is also super nice and has space to store/dry kite gear.
