Room was spacious with a fantastic view of the river. They gave me a downstairs room as requested for my elderly father which was much appreciated. Room had a small lounge and dining table. Location was fine for what we needed. Situated on main road, not too far from restaurants on the river. Beds looked new and were clean and very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

I had a wonderful stay at the Midland Motel in their King Room, which offers stunning waterfront views. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with a kitchen and a private bathroom—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Situated on the ground floor, it’s easily accessible and arguably the best room in the motel. The facilities are top-notch, and waking up to the serene river view was a highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay!

Late check-in was very easy. The staff were so friendly and lovely. The beds were comfortable. It was lovely being so close to the river, and there were a few food options very close by. We appreciated the small kitchen. This was a typical motel in a regional town - not new or flash, but it had everything we needed plus a laundry and pool that we didn't need this time around but would have appreciated if we were staying longer and in summer :)
