The Gróf Degenfeld Castle Hotel is situated amidst picturesque surroundings in Tarcal, in the heart of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region and welcomes all lovers of great wine and nature.
The 4-star hotel is housed in a reconstructed historical mansion in the middle of a 100-hectare vineyard. The rooms are equipped with Empire furniture and luxurious colour-coordinated fabrics. Spend relaxing hours in the noble salon or in the library, dip into the on-site outdoor pool, dine fine in the restaurant and make use of the hotel's exquisite meeting facilities.
Guests can also visit the on-site Theresa Chapel for free, built in 1750 as a tribute to Maria Theresa, then Queen of Hungary.

Stylish old building with spacious rooms. The hotel is located in a beatuful park just near the vineyard. Rooms were clean, Stuff helpfull. Breakfasts were basic but were ok. It's definitely worths staying in the hotel if you are in the area.

The location is beautiful, between the vineyards. We had dinner which was really good and we had also a good choice of local wines to match our dishes.
