Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of savory and sweet items, delicious cakes, fresh fruit etc. Delightful lady Giovanna oversees the breakfast and the pool bar area during the day…. Swimming pool is lovely, a real little oasis! Rooms are spacious. The decor is very old fashioned and somewhat tired looking and did initially put us off… Think floral and chintz bedspreads etc…. But coupled with that is some charming and unique antique furniture in communal areas do it kind of grows on you.

Family run hotel , pleasant staff, lovely owners , Giorgio made our stay! When we were leaving , I felt like we were leaving own family - farewells were in a proper Sicilian style.

A welcoming charming destination, beautiful colours and furniture, location and precise attention to detail. The family run hotel was very chic , family and staff were lovely and looked after us. Breakfast and the interior and pool , fabulous and thoughtful.

- very friendly & efficient staff - beautiful older building with class & very nice rooms - we loved the terrasse, seaview & pool - superclean / high quality equipment - breakfast was great - 10 minutes walk from the trainstation - a short but steep uphill walk (20 minutes) brings you to Taormina without using a bus / car / taxi

Villa Sirina is in a lovely location tucked into a green space on the hillside behind the main hospital between Taormina and Guadini-Naxos. The Villa is traditional Italian family hotel of the sort where even the dog at the hearth in the main hall is pleased to see you. The walk down the narrow pavement (which disappears completely in a few odd places) is easy enough to navigate on foot to get out and explore the restaurants on the sea front of Guardini-Naxos. However you'd be well advised to consider taking a taxi on the return trip if the worse for wear and in the dark (the missing pavements, remember?). It's about 10-15 minutes walk each way down to the seafront. Villa Sirina has a great little swimming pool big enough just for doing laps and sunbathing beside.
