Hotel Overview

Offering views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, the Vello d'Oro is a functional 3-star hotel in the shopping area of Taormina. All rooms are en suite, and some have a sea-view balcony.
The former site of a ceramics workshop, Albergo Vello d'Oro has been a hotel since the 1950s. This 5-storey building still has some original architectural features.

The hotel is 500 metres from Porta Catania and near the Lumbi car park.

The hotel is amazing and quirky with artwork around every corner. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful and we felt looked after and cared for. It is located centrally close to shops and amenities to access tours and events
