We liked the attention to detail, the first aid kit, the moisturiser left in the bathroom, the book of things to know about the house. Having tea towels ready for us, washing up stuff, a bowl of fresh fruit and a pint of milk upon arrival made us feel very at home The location is amazing, right near the waterfall and lake. The house itself is gorgeous with lovely photos in each room. We will definitely be back!

Location was ideal for exploring north and south of the national park as well as the west coast. There were nice walks you could do from the door. It was close to local shops. The house was beautiful and very clean.

As everyone else has said before, this is a nice little place to stay, clean and well-equipped (no problem with the loo now, if you read Anlaine's review). The patio at the front of the house gets the sun all day (weather permitting) so I had a week of chilly but sunny breakfasts outside, and a relaxing cup of tea in the late afternoon sun. There are some benches in the park if you need some evening sunshine. Don't worry that the patio isn't enclosed, just smile and wave at people and they might wave back. I enjoyed exploring the Moelwynion - I normally go walking in the lake district but I wasn't disappointed to come here instead. A lovely contrast between the natural landscape and the industrial heritage, with a bit of effort you have some splendid views (weather permitting again!)
