The family were very friendly and welcoming. Tansen, is not on the main tourist trail and we were made to feel very safe and secure. We were offered the opportunity to have a family meal, which included time before to help with food preparation - it was all very informal and nice. The food was tasty and all vegetarian, we were offered both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The view from the balcony is amazing.

Gorgeous little guesthouse with a beautiful view of Tansen. We watched sunrise from our balcony every morning. Janaki and Inthu were such helpful hosts. My husband had broken his foot and was not feeling well whilst we stayed and Janaki was so attentive giving him herbal medicines and helping us book our travel to Pokhara. Felt like a home away from home! Will definitely stay again!

One of the best places to enjoy true Nepali atmosphere, Life, and view. Although you might need to sweat a little to get there, It Is definetely worthwhile....

We loved the hospitality of the family that owns Horizon Homestay. We only stayed for one night, but the family provided activities for several days that could be booked, and provided a fantastic book to see activities to do in the area. The bedroom with a balcony that we booked had a breathtaking view. We enjoyed dinner with the family and another guest — it was my favorite dinner of our trip! We arrived during inclement weather and they were incredible helping us find a bus back to Pokhara, even calling bus drivers to inquire as to whether the roads were passable. We cannot wait to return and stay at Horizon Homestay again!
