The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that guests checking-in must provide proof or verification of identity. In the event that the guest checking in is different from the guest who made the reservation, the hotel reserves the right to hold the booking. If the guest who made the booking is not the one checking-in, this information must communicated to the hotel upon booking. Upon check-in, the hotel reserves the right to request for documents for identity verification.
With effect from 1 June 2014, the Penang City Council will be imposing a city tax of MYR 3 per room per night, which is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.

Dated hotel, hanging on for the past Rooms hide, view great - amenities average, with an outside bar open 1 of 2 days Breakfast passable, but why no knives m?

i have to thanks the management to fulfill my request to get seaview room.i enjoy all the 3 days with seaview.i would come again on next holiday.hope i get seaview room.thanks to all the staff because i check in on the time when i arrive at hotel. the menu can change everyday because the 2 days breakfast have same menu.all around i enjoy the penang trip.

Great facilities, spacious room, lovely staff, good breakfast, nice pool, and lovely bar and restaurant on the beach, excellent food, nightly fire show. The lady who sang ABBA one evening was extremely good. We enjoyed our stay. About 20 to 30 mins from George Town, Lovely beach.

The facilities are very nice and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have beach access just behind the hotel. It was a pleasant stay and family friendly. Most of the tourist spots are nearby but you have to use a cab. Overall highly recommended for family trips. The breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the selections offered.
