Great room, nice hotel, TV and WiFi worked well, a really pleasent stay from all Morrocans places

The location is great. It's at the end of Mohammed VI Street. 2 min walk from the Kasaba ( the old city ). It is in front of the old port, amazing view. Check-in was fast. The gentleman at the front desk arranged the taxi for me at 03:30 at night to the airport. Check out was also very fast. I would love to stay more time in the beautiful city of Tanger. It's very clean. Good WIFi. Clean bathroom. Marco Polo is a great hotel for a great price. I will go back soon to Marco Polo Hotel in Tanger. This hotel honestly deserves a high rate.

I stayed in the MARCO POLO for about 10 days at the end of October. The location is fantastic. It's on the ocean promenade and the beach is a few hundred meters away. It was very quiet while I was there, but I think it would be really noisyin the touritseason There are a number of convenience stores and restaurants. [I especially enjoye Tanjin,3 blocks away, V Reasonably Priced, & El Contacto excellent food, though the prices are higher.]. When I was there, there was no Restaurant. It says there was room service, but I guess they would have to go outside of the hotel to get food. The room themselves are very decent: the room is quite large, the bed was comfortable, good linen, the bathroom was nice except that the water was barely lukewarm which I did bring to management attention but there was no change. The AC seemed quite good, but there was absolutely No Heat in the room and in October it was very cold. The Wi-Fi could only be called decent [in the last five years, I've spent 15 months travel all over Africa, so I use that as a standard. From western world perspective it would be very deficient]. It would go off for a period of time, back on and then off again. While they were happy to clean your room and change your linen et cetera every day they accommodated me by not doing so until I gave specific instructions. I would recommend that you explore the pricing. I have seen comments about their poor staffing. My experience was entirely the opposite. The Staff were very Friendly, very Helpful, and when they didn't see me for two days they checked on me to make sure everything was OK. They upgraded my room from the back to the front where I had a great view, private patio and some Patio Furniture. I ordered my airport taxi through them and it was there at 4 am.

Top!!! I’m so happy that I stayed in this hotel! I called the receptionist because I needed to give them my pack bag before the check-in time. They were so welcoming and they accepted to keep it for free! I enjoyed my trip that half day and when I come back for the real checking I was impressed by the very CLEAN stairs, floors with light and peaceful colours and I immediately felt home when I joined the room! Very clean (they are the ladies that clean there every morning) and the reception is 24/7 and my room was so calm/no noises at all! (my windows was on the other side of the street - not the Main Street) and I loved that! The bathroom is furnished with 3 towels + 2 shampoo/body soap and toilet paper, warm water and everything functioning including the ventilator and the bidet!. The room reminded me my childhood room :) well furnished. One big bed and 2 abajour and the main light. The two wardrobe, and a small fridge with the same colour of the furniture. And the other bedsides and drawers all clean. Not dust at all! I mean I tried to check with my finger and ZERO dust! Wow ❤️! The Airco + the TV satelite working perfectly! I was so happy that I decided to book for another time in the future! Location in front of Marina and good snacks/restaurants with affordable prices nearby! Many thanks for everything!

Property was clean and modern. With all amenities quite safe secure location staff was excellent and kind lovely new apartment with working lift and secure parking also I checked in late the owner was excellent and pays attention to detail to Help and accommodate 💯 recommended as it’s modern new apartment super clean with hot shower and full facility to cook etccc. Will defo recommend to friends and family to stay here

Beautiful large and very comfortable bedrooms BBC news and other English channels on TV Very obliging young male receptionist doing 3-11pm shift. Thanks so much! Close to beach and shopping centre Quiet location at the back 10 minutes walk from port and medina Kettle provided on request Great value for money!!!

I loved the ambiance. Great hallways, sitting areas, and lobby. I took photos of the light fixtures and the ceiling coves, and furnishings. I appreciated the chairs and small table in the hallway where I could place my things while opening the door to my room.

No breakfast available at the hotel. Good restaurants and cafes just up the street. I enjoyed sitting inside or on the street and watching the people go by. Breakfasts were 5 to 10 dollars. I asked reception for a kettle for my room and it was available the next day.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Everything was great, and what I was expecting for the price I paid. The WiFi worked great, the Air con was super cold. In fact it's so windy and cold in Tangier that I had to use the heating setting.
