The fine print
Boat transfers to and from Tangalooma Island Resort are an additional charge, payable at the resort on arrival:Boat transfers are AUD 88 return per adult , AUD 48 return per child 3-14 years, free for children up to 2 years. This price valid until 31 March 2025 only, From 1 April 2025 price will be 94 AUD for adult and 50 AUD for children.Please note that you are automatically booked on 12:30pm boat on day of arrival (Brisbane to Tangalooma) and the 2.30pm boat on the day of departure (Tangalooma to Brisbane). Please contact Tangalooma after booking to request alternative transfer times.Please reconfirm transfers at least 24 hours prior to arrival by contacting the resort directly.Please note that a 2.25% surcharge applies for payments made with American Express credit cards.Please note that any resort guest that requires uninterrupted continuous power supply for life support equipment, is required to notify the property 96 hours in advance prior to check-in at the resort or its ferry transportation.Please note that a 1% surcharge applies for payments made with Visa and Mastercard.
The resort has a number of high-volume events throughout the year such as conferences, events, film shoots, tourism activations, cruise ship arrivals and large group bookings that can increase the level of guests on the island at any given time. Whilst we reserve some inventory of tours and activities for in-house guests on these days, some of the activities may be limited in availability due to high demand. To avoid disappointment, we encourage guests to book these activities on days other than the days the cruise ships visit. The resort reserves the right to activate high-volume visitation events at any time without notice but will make efforts to minimize disruption on guest services and access during these times. Staff were so helpful and friendly, such a beautiful location, rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of activities to do. We loved the snorkelling tour and quad bikes. Our children had not snorkelled before and were nervous but the staff were fantastic (in particular Will and Charlotte) and really put them at ease and they loved it.

I thought the location of our unit at the resort was excellent. We had a great view of the ocean ans over the pool. The gardens were beautiful. We enjoyed the options for activities. We thought our unit was reasonably priced for a family on a budget. All the staff were wonderful. Smiling alot and happy to help.

Comfortable, roomy hotel room with sea view. Buffet breakfast was yummy and restaurant choices were great. Northern 4WD bus tour was interesting.

The information about the island and local wild life was an added bonus that made the experience even better. All the staff were extremely friendly and happy to help, the food options were more than perfect, honestly we didn't want to leave!!
