Amazing Homestay definitely recommend stopping of here! The owners were both lovely and the food was amazing. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a feast of Sri Lankan food for dinner( which was some of the best I've had in Sri lanka so far). In the morning again the breakfast was so good and plenty of food. They even did our washing. For such a cheap price this homestay is a must visit!

This was by far the best stay on our tour through south Sri Lanka. We were welcomed with delicious orange juice and could taste fresh fruits from the garden. The hosts always tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible and it was really nice to learn more about the Sri Lankian culture and the way of life. The food was by far the most dilicious, diverse and authentic we’ve ever had during our time on the island. The owners were very kind and kept the house and garden very clean. The beach was beautiful and only 5 min walk from the homestay, however the ocean was very rough and almost no tourist was there (it was end of April and off-season). The latter was nice for us but if you want to talk with other tourists you should go there at high-season. Fortunately, we had our own Tuktuk and could drive to nice beaches for swimming in 10 km radius. We can totally recommend to have a stop at Sanaya Homestay and enjoy the delicious food and beaches around there. We would go there every time again.
