Nice size room, big bed & spacious bathroom. Personal plunge pool for each room was a great feature to have. Food was very tasty & staff were very polite, friendly & helpful.

Exceptional staff members who regularly checked in if I needed anything and gave me their contact details so I could reach out in case of any requests. Great location, close to the beach and some restaurants but still quiet. Clean room with nice design.

Great property, loved the private pool. Lovely friendly hosts. Even offered to bring us breakfast to our room which we enjoyed. Great value for money. 30 mins drive from Hiriketiya beach and 15 mins drive from Silent Beach - only had short stay so didn’t get time to check these out.

Rooms were clean but small, especially for our family of four. Private pool was clean and refreshing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was walking distance to the beach.

We had such a great stay at Anama. From the minute we got there we were greeted by lovely staff who got us a drink and showed us to our room. The room was spotless! By far the cleanest accommodation we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The shower has hot water and good water pressure. The WiFi is very good. The beds are very comfortable and good pillows. The surrounding area is also very quiet so you won’t be disturbed (apart from the occasional monkey running on the roof 🤣) It’s right next to the beach so you can easily walk there and go for a swim. We rented bicycles from a nearby place and used them all day to get around Tangalle for £2 each. I did see some comments about the nearby streets not feeling that safe so I was a bit worried but once we were there I felt very safe, and everyone we met was lovely. The streets are a little dark so maybe that’s why people felt unsafe but there are restaurants that have outside lights which was enough.

I have lived in Sri Lanka for 3 years and travel a lot. I have seen many expensive and cheap hotels. But this place remained in my heart. I lived in a hotel house, I had a clean big bed, a kettle, tea, coffee, water (this is very important to me). The shower had hot water and good pressure. There were also large windows overlooking palm trees. The staff was very hospitable, close to the bus station and close to the ocean. At the end of the trip, I was very pleased to receive a small gift from the hotel. This is a small elephant. Cool place. I advise everyone

Beautiful property. I saw comments about cockroaches from other guests but we didn’t have any. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was very nice and hot.
