Really nice and cosy little hostel just right next to the train station. I arrived late after a long flight but the owner was waiting for me, very welcoming. I had a great night and avoid jetlag 😊

Location is perfect, right next the train station and bus terminal for the kumano kodo, and the main restaurant area in Tanabe. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, and a great to have a chat with. Value for money was excellent. The bar was nice and they had local craft brewed beers on tap which were delicious. A perfect stopover before starting the kumano kodo!

very cool hostel, welcoming staff just across the road from the station. We had 1 bunk room enclosed within dormitory with accessible toilet upstairs but also more downstairs, laundry facilities and great bar with local craft beer. I really liked Tanabe, small town heaps of dining options, worth a stroll down to the beach
