Resort Overview

This all-inclusive resort with outdoor swimming pool is located on Playa Tambor volcanic sand beach. It offers spectacular views of Bahía Ballena Bay on one side and lush hills on the other.
Barceló Tambor’s rooms feature tiled floors and an elegant décor. Each room has a balcony or terrace with sea or garden views. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer.
Barceló Tambor has 4 restaurants, including El Tucan serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Miyako Japanese restaurant. There is also a poolside bar and nightly entertainment and live music. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, including golf at Los Delfines Golf & Country Club, just 2 km away. There is also an on-site ecological park.

Is possible to see many animals from the Hotel, monkeys, squirrels, iguanas, macaws.... We have the oportunity to have dinner in El Rancho and William was a really good waiter, he served and advised us perfectly. The food was really good. The rooms are really big and AC works fine. Entertainment and activitys are really cool.

Good amenities all close by. Food in the buffet restaurant was good. The Japanese only offered sushi which was subpar. The steakhouse was decent and worth the visit.
