This hostel was a very nice stop on our Japan trip and we felt very welcomed by the team. The place is simple but offers everything you need. We definitely enjoyed the heated blankets on this cold season. Both our kids loved the place too!

The place is very central and close to sights. There were plenty bathrooms and we never had to wait. I loved the layout of the building. It is a traditional Japanese house with the fireplace. We were provided with electric blankets which were really handy as it got cold at night. We were able to store our bags before and after our stay which was handy

Good location, easy check in and check out, cheap. That said, I would not stay here again. The pillow was uncomfortable, only a handtowel provided for shower, privacy not great. The cleanliness / condition of the facilities was overall okay for the price.

Very comfortable room for an affordable price. Nice tea selection. Good futons. Helpful staff. Plus you get to stay in well maintained hundred year old ryokan.

Showers - quick to heat up and strong water pressure Heating - air conditioner, portable heater, spare blanket, electric blanket Some teas, coffees and snacks available. Common areas looked good, but I did not use them - full kitchen, shared eating areas Plenty of fridge space.

We forgot to ask for a parking space, but when we arrive it was no problem and we could park in front of the house for 1000yen.

Very conveniently located for walking into the old town preservation district and the Miyagawa morning market. Plenty of places nearby to eat, but also really good kitchen facilities to cook your own meals. The staff explained everything clearly, and there are many signs explaining nearby conveniences such as the laundromat for driers, and the nearby public bath.
