Comfortable and quiet. The host was so polite and helpful. He recommended us some good restaurants and brote us to the bus station in the morning because the bus was not running due to Japan’ golden week! Great host!

It was amazing time that we spent there! If you want to stay in cozy and quiet place, highly suggest. 15 minutes from the historical area, 20-25 minutes walk. There is playground for the kids that is not far from the house with beautiful views. Also want to mention that the owner is so hospitable and everything in the house is very clean and comfortable! We visited this place in winter and we were even given warm pads. It’s so considerate! Highly recommend!

The only place I stay during my whole Japan trip allow you to use the towel and napkin freely as the is always clean ones on the shelf. The lady host is very friendly despite she cant speak English, she took her effort ensure you understand the facilities available for you to use and the rules. The room big and has a place for you to dry your clothes after washing them at ground floor.

When we arrived we really felt like entering a local house, asbolutely authentic one, with a very nice living room. The owner is a symbol of japanese kindness, he also offered himself to take us to Takayama centre in a rainy day. Another plus: the beds are very confortable, and the street very quite, it's the place where I've slept the best in our trip so far. The surrondings doesn't have much to offer, but there's a bar (maybe an izakaya, though I'm not sure) just down the street and a sushi restaurant at 10mins walk. The old town is not far either, maybe 20min walk.

Didn't really spend too much time in the guesthouse to be honest but we enjoyed our stay and had no problems. The host was there to welcome us, beds were comfortable, facilities were adequate and we felt it was good value for money.

Felt like home. Was made to feel very comfortable by welcoming and generous hosts who went through the effort to prepare so much. From laundry facilities, fully functioning kitchen, and even electric bikes to get you to the centre. The place js spotless clean and spacious enough, including living room shared space. Wish the accommodation was available on more nights during our stay in Takayama! Thank you for the hospitality. It was like family opening doors to their home.
