Please kindly note:
- All guests must provide government photo identification or passport upon arrival.
- Settle the payment upon arrival. We accept cash and credit card.
- Check-in time 15:00, check-out time 11:00. Late arrival after 23:00, please notify us in advance.
- Minimum age for dormitory is 18 years old.
- Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult in private rooms.
- Children over 5 years old are considered as individual guests and will need to reserve one bed for him/herself.
- Children under 6 years old are free to stay in the rooms with double beds. (Double room / Triple room / Family room)
- For guests who book beds in dormitory, please note that guests of the same booking may be arranged to different dormitory rooms subject to availability upon arrival.
- To help protect the environment, we do not offer disposable toothbrushes or other disposable items. Please bring your own if needed.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. This is the second time I stayed in Star Hostel Taipei Main Station. Excellent location and value for money. The room is clean, but the common area is the best, very spacious and cozy. We spend most of the time in the common area instead of our room. They also offer free daily activities for guests to join (e.g. mini tour of the area, movie night,..). And don't forget to visit the famous "Braised Pork Rice" shop nearby.

I love how friendly and helpful the staff are. It's nice that they include activities to do throughout the week! Very clean, and I feel very safe as a solo female traveller.

Close to a small marketplace and a convenience store that accepts international bank cards. The staff at the front desk are very knowledgeable about the area and can give you great recommendations. There is a storage room if you have any extra baggage you don't want to take to your room. As for the property itself, this hostel is VERY clean with a warm atmosphere. Besides the relaxing and aesthetically-pleasing common area, there is a dining room open in mornings and evenings for self-service dinner. They offer free breakfasts served in 3 intervals (8:00, 8:40, and 9:20); if you have an early flight, toast and coffee is provided in the open kitchen area that you can serve yourself. Make sure you reserve ASAP, because this property is EXTREMELY popular, especially in peak seasons!

Really nice place. The room was cozy and comfortable and the common areas were very nice, with a homely feel that encouraged guests to chat with each other and make new friends. Very clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, right next to the main station and in an area with lots of interesting streets.
