We booked last minute due to a change of plans, having stayed at HPW in Kaohsiung we wanted to try the Taipei version. It's a big place, quite busy, lots of rooms. For a night, it was a fine choice as a place to sleep - not sure I'd stay here for longer than a couple of nights. All rooms are windowless. Nice brewery downstairs for drinks.

The hotel is in the center of Taipei, minutes away from the shopping area, local restaurants, Airport Train Link, and Taipei Central Station. I also liked the posh reception and lobby. The breakfast was also nice despite the limited vegetarian options, with a great Chinese-style restaurant ambiance. Check-in/check-out is smooth.

The room for a family of 5 is big and comfy bed. The hotel is located within walking distance of Xi Men Ding. The breakfast is like a buffet-style, and it is the same every day, consider changing the menu.

The location is good. Very near to Ximending. Surrounded with many good options even late into the night. There's an eating hall where you can buy your own food and eat there.
