Great location, good value for money, friendly staff, room cleaned daily. Its not a 5* hotel, but if like us you arent too fussy about having top facilities, then it's a great hotel for a few days exploring taipei.

This property is located really close to Taipei Main Station (take exit K12 for escalator. The closest exit Z6 only has stairs. Staff said exit Z4 also has escalator but it wasnt working when we got there). A lot of food options and staff was amazing. We needed a taxi to go to the airport as our flight was really early in the morning and they managed to get us a driver which is cheaper than Uber. The driver was super on time (even turned up early!) and we just needed to wait in our room until the driver arrived.

Upon entry of the bldg, you will have a 2nd thought, but once you reach the floor of Lin Inn, it's different. The room is very spacious and clean. Staff are very accommodating. It is very accessible since it is a walking distance from taipei main station and bus stations. My only request is for them to put a shower curtain in the toilet. If you're not a picky person, I recommend Lin Inn.

This hostel is really comfortable, close to ximending (15 min by foot), the staff is great, there’s lot of street food and restaurants nearby. Beautiful…

Ask for the odd-number rooms only. They are renovated. Even-number rooms are all very run-down! Some rooms are served as love hotel rooms also.

- Although Unusual, i have to send them a Message through Whatsapp after I booked this Hostel. This turned out to be Very Good though because Alot of Information is Communicated there, even Room and Wifi Passwords. No issues with Comms in English, Instructions were Clear and Easy to Understand. Very Friendly Chat. - I appreciate that they messaged and reminded me on Whatsapp 1 day before. They provide a luggage storing service altho i did not use it. - Location was Easy to find via Google Maps, its located near Taipei Main Station. The Nearest Exit to the Hostel are Z6 or Z8. That said though you do need to know how to go to Zone Z from within the Station. Ask around if you're lost. Taipei Main Station is a Big Place. - Elevator is available although only 1 was working and the other was undergoing maintenance. Still i appreciated there is an Elevator so you dont need to carry a huge luggage up stairs. Elevator is Modern and Spacious. - There is a Proper Front Desk. The Lady Receptionist (who was the one who Whatsapp Comms me) herself was Really Friendly and All Smiles. I talked to her in Mandarin but i suppose she is proficient in English too. She had a Very Good Customer Service Vibe that instantly made me feel at ease. Checking in was very Easy and Smooth and i was even allowed to check in earlier. Thank you! - There is a Free Water Dispenser that provides Hot Water. Its Clean looking. Room WIFI connected easily. It was Fast and Smooth. Passwords are given in the Whatsapp Message. - I Love the Keyless and Cardless system. The Door uses a Numpad and as mentioned, all Codes are given to you via Whatsapp. So as long as you have your Phone with you at all times, you can easily enter. Door is built solid too, I never felt the need to use my own Personal Security Door Lock. - Room 33 was Spacious with a Small Window. Although Old Looking, it was Relatively Cleanly Kept and when i entered, they already had the Aircon turned on. It was Very Cooling.
