It is good value for money but you have exactly what you paid for as in a bed in a room and shared bathrooms and showers. It is very clean and you have access to washing machine which is great when travelling. It is super central and easy to walk/take the train from.

I always like these kind of hotel where they provides single room (with shared bathroom) for lone travellers. Allow us to have private space with not breaking the bank.

Good central location yet quiet and clean. Rooftop balcony area a bit rough but ok for some fresh air

What a hidden gem ColorMix is!! Great location - near enough to Ximen nightlife without being bothered by it, shops and services in the immediate area. Attentive owner & staff with good English. Quiet enough, fully-featured compact room with fridge and comfortable bed/pillows, on-site kitchenette & coin laundry - see Reception for coin change. TV in room with decent choice of local channels, including a couple of English (US) ones.

Very good location in the center - but still not noisy. The hostel is very well organised, common bathroom was always clean. There are more than enough toilets etc. available. Common kitchen with a big fridge on the rooftop. Smoking allowed on rooftop.

The Hostel was in a great location, nearby to popular walking streets great for shopping and food, and also near to a train station for further exploration. The room was comfortable, and the AC was very welcome after a hot and humid day in Taipei. The hostel had great facilities, and was tidy and clean. I'd highly recommend to travelers on a budget.

Our flight delayed 3hrs. The check in counter texted us a warm regards. Appreciate that. The staff and boss provide us a lot advice and solution during the stay of us at Taipei. 24hrs security provided... this is awesome for us. Strategy location, just less than 5 mins walk from the busier area but quiet during the sleeping hr.

My suitcase broke down and the staff kindly accompanied me to a specialist who could help me fix it before my return flight as I do not speak Mandarin, as well as helping me put the protective lint on. The location of the hotel is amazing, as well as the fact that there are separate floors for men and women. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling alone.
