When you visit a new place it is always the people that make it memorable. Siracusa is really worth the visit and maybe more than the 2 days we spent, it is lovely to walk the streets of Ortigia without necessarily hitting all the “attractions”, just enjoying the sights under the warm Sicily sun on a January day; but what we will remember for sure from here is how lovely we felt at our accommodation. Clean white sheets, a sunny room, great shower pressure in the bathroom (nothing beats a hot powerful shower in the evening after walking all day) and a general modern feel to an otherwise old old building (fully renovated), and, on top of all these, the wonderful Simona and her motherly care for us. The breakfast was very varied and tasty and she had many tips for us in terms of what to do/what to see. We felt welcomed and had a general feeling of being home away from home.

We loved our stay at apollo, the room is very clean beautiful and on a great location. Staff is super friendly, accommodating and helping. We absolutely loved our stay and i hope we come back soon. Thank you for making our Syracusian experience beautiful.

Beautiful modern and clean room in a fantastic location. We parked in a free area just over the bridge, hotel is walking distance to all of old town and many restaurants, it also overlooks some ancient ruins.

The property was very clean and new, the bed was big and comfortable (although a sheet only, no duvet), and the shower was good.
