I honestly wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. While the room was small, it was bigger and had more facilities than I expected. The bathroom was modern and well appointed. I was happy!

We had to tell housekeeping a couple of times to replenish the soup in the shower but other than that it was good. Great location! Easy lil hotel.

The volume of rooms in Veriu Central demonstrated a dormitory and absolutely every square inch used for the benefit revenue over comfort. This should not be a real problem to any guest until you understand that your room is so tiny. The double bed pressed up against two sides, cushion side and window wall side.

Friendly staff, but there were a few annoyances - phone in the room didn’t work for reception, water pressure in shower was super low, and some housekeeping had to be followed up on (e.g. not replenishing toilet paper) / but otherwise was a comfortable stay, and decent value in a great location.

The rooms are modern but the building is old and run down. Half the carpet had been ripped up and was noisy at night when people were walking past.
