We stayed here overnight while waiting for an international transit flight. It was perfect for what we needed, but quite expensive and the only two things I would comment on were that the staff were not very friendly and there was no lift, so we had to lug all our heavy luggage up two flights of stairs and the staff did not offer to help. I’m not sure how elderly or disabled people would cope.

Hotel is centrally located. It is within walking distance to the airport, grocery store and train station making it extremely convenient for travellers.

Silkari was a pleasant surprise, we needed a good value accommodation before going to the airport the following day. The Sydney Super Shuttle ran to & from the accommodation & airports (also stopping at other motels) and was excellent value at $13 per person one way. The accommodation itself was clean & secure, the room was small but suitable for a transit stay. We walked to the close by Calypso cafe for an excellent & cheap breakfast. Dinner had been at the Rower's club (also a short walk). We'd definitely stay here again

Super close to the airport - 3 min drive - and value for money compared to other slightly smarter hotels… but who needs ‘smart’ when you have an unplanned stay at the airport. My room was really clean, huge comfy bed, all facilities provided and a buffet breakfast included for only an extra $12 through booking.com. The Room was as pictured on booking.com. The staff were really helpful and patient. When an Uber driver messed up the woman at the front desk went out of her way to help me. The breakfast chef was really friendly and obviously cared a lot about her job. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Thanks for a great stay! I will definitely stay again.

The shower area was very small with no extractor fan so lots of steam in the bathroom.

Passable for a short stay, some of the creature comforts were missing, but overall, the room was OK to sleep before flying out early in the morning. The park and shopping centre is close by which was convenient.
