We went in with higher expectations for a 4 star hotel. It was clean and comfortable and staff OK but very dated, TV HDMI cable was missing but maintenance man was great and also pointed out the room had a wifi booster we could log into which resolved the poor wifi signal which should have been pointed out at reception or on in room instructions.

Room is spacious and well equipped for a longer stay with stove top, kettle, toaster and microwave. Bed and linen was clean and super comfortable. My request for a room away from lifts was accommodated. Staff were helpful in providing advice on where to find venues and services. Staff were promptly responsive to solving TV access problems.

Cooking facilities were in a cupboard. Not sure about the health and safety standards on this. We had to evacuate at 1:15 am due to a fire alarm. We were on the 28th floor. We used the stairs but others used the lifts. Staff did not leave the building? We were readmitted to the building after 25 mins or so. No explanation was given for the fire alarm or whether it was safe to return. My gut feeling is this is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

Two bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Beds very comfortable. Fabulous location - a short walk from Central Station and other public transport. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
