The Challis Potts Point hotel is a great basic hotel for a short getaway in Sydney. It’s not standout, but it was perfect for our stay. The staff was very friendly also.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and guests, it didn’t feel impersonal the way a hotel can sometimes feel. It was a bonus to sit on the front balcony reading ,enjoying a coffee,or just for a breath of fresh air to watch the world go by. Good location, able to walk to NSW Gallery & many good cafes & restaurants nearby.

I had a wonderful stay of 4 nights at this charming, brilliantly located boutique hotel. Bed linen was luxe, which made getting to sleep a breeze: smallish ensuite, but more than suitable for my needs. A small bug, there was no face washer or flannel. Hard to wash using body wash. The staff were terrific, letting me check in an hour early, and very thoughtful. I will be staying here in the future, priced very keenly.
