The location of this place near Central Station in Sydney is unsurpassed. The instructions for access were excellent and the room, while very small and with only one window which had been painted over, was quite adequate for an overnight stay. The advertisement said "elegant" and it was not actually elegant. It had cheap furnishings and quite hideous paintings everywhere. The mattress and pillows were cheap and not terribly comfortable. The ensuite was excellent with a large shower, complementary shampoo and body wash and a good hair dryer. There was a kitchen on the floor below which meant there was no kettle in the room to make a cup of tea, which I would have liked. Towels and sheets were of very good quality and the airconditioning worked well on a hot and steamy night.

The price was definitely the biggest highlight. Moreover, it's next to public transports, making it super easy to travel from/to airport and other Sydney's attractions, as well as restaurants and convenient stores.
