Cambridge Lodge was good value & a nice place to stay. The staff were lovely & helpful. It is a bit worn & tired but the showers were clean & the water was hot ☺️

We were greeted by the most beautiful and friendly staff at reception. She gave us a tour, showed us around and explained all the amenities. Our room was clean and exactly as described.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We asked if it was okay to check in early and leave our bags in reception post check-out which they made arrangements for. Everyone was very polite, friendly and helpful.

The location is great. About 5 minutes walk from Stanmore train station. There is also a small IGA supermarket near the station too. The building is a old with signs of wear and tear, but it is clean and has a nice homey feel. The lady on the front desk is chatty and friendly. There are two sections, the upstairs rooms and the downstairs rooms. Both have their own bathrooms. The kitchen and outdoor area is in the downstairs section. It was pretty quiet when I was there. On street parking was easy to find as I arrived in the afternoon on a weekday. It might be a bit more difficult on weekends, but not impossible.
