This place was perfect for a weekend getaway for peace and quiet! We stayed in the cottage by the pool and the pool felt very private and exclusive to us. The property is near to a small town so it's very easy to pop out and get things if you forgot anything. My favourite part of the stay was the garden, which is massive and felt like you were in a botanical garden, with a few chickens running around. There are many varieties of trees and the property is right next to a horse pen so it's a great place to walk around and take in nature. There is enough sun and shade to relax in the pool and/or have a picnic outside. At night it is pitch black outside so it's perfect for stargazing! The host is also so sweet and makes an effort with writing your name on a board upon your arrival!

Everything was on hand and nothing lacked. Place of Sonlight is 100% for relaxation and some me or us time. Charlotte is the best host we have ever had. She's so friendly and makes you feel like family. We will definitely be visiting again.

Very warm welcome from Charlotte! Well-maintained, quiet, and huge garden with beautiful and large palm trees, Large pool, and garden grill was there, which we made Braai. Highly recommended! Rating: 10 out of 10!

Cute hotel and garden. Charlotte was a super nice and welcoming host. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen.

We liked that it was out of town and that there were many trees in the property, esp. surrounding us. It was so nice to have the pool just in front of our cottage, we made good use of it. The host was very helpful, it was nice to meet a part of the family.

I liked the fact that Charlotte was exceptionally friendly on arrival and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She provided charcoal and firelighters because we mentioned we forgot charcoal.
