Stunning farm location. Friendly farm staff who are happy to let you watch the cows being milked. Close enough for a short drive to town to stock up on groceries or a visit to a restaurant. Comfortable self catering with everything needed to cook etc

What a view! Popped into lovely Swellendam but couldn't wait to get back to enjoy the peace and gorgeousness of Appelsbosch. The location is hard to beat. The cottage is clean and very well equipped inside and out. Met some of the farm staff who were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights but would happily have stayed much longer.

We loved our stay and loved that it was remote and private. The location was perfect and check-in and communication were very efficient. The property was well-equipped with everything you could need. The views, sounds and stargazing around the fire at night were highlights. Thanks for letting us share your space.

We loved our stay at Appelsbosch. Great stop over on the way to the garden route from cape town. Very remote and private. It really is as good as the pictures! We spent most of the time sat enjoying the view and sounds of nature with a bottle of wine.

It had everything we needed and the location is beautiful. The option to be outside or indoors is very convenient.
