Bed and Breakfast Overview

The Castleton is approximately 150m from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the town. Offering a lounge with sea views, this traditional seaside property is nearby a sandy beach. There is limited onsite parking but ample alternatives are available in the vicinity.
The spacious rooms at The Castleton have high ceilings and attractive design. There is free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom comes with free toiletries.
The Castleton opens on to its own garden and there is also a conservatory.
A range of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in the town centre. Swanage offers easy access to lovely countryside with Knoll Beach and the surrounding nature reserve just 15 minutes’ drive away.
Parking on-site is very limited, street parking is plentiful.
Occasionally, guests may have to use the public car park during very busy periods. This is 120m from the property.

The Castleton has a great feel about it from the time Kate welcomes you at the front door. All looked well looked after, tastily decorated, extremely clean. Don't get me started on the breakfast! Extensive choices, all prepared to perfection and served to extra perfection by an adorable, friendly, funny lady ( I am sorry I didn't get her name). Parking: easy on nearby street. Location: perfect on the no. 50 bus to Sandbanks ferry, the start of our walk; minutes from Swanage centre. I would recommend the Castleton any time.

The breakfast was perfect, in taste, quantity and variety, and was promptly served. The owner and staff were kind and sincere. The hotel seemed to be newly decorated.

It was a really excellent breakfast. Large choice of food all cooked to your liking plus a selection of cereal fruit juice and yogurt served by friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. Very helpful staff. Room was good. Would have preferred a bit bigger, but that was what was available. Bed was comfortable. Parking was limited. The earlier you got there, the more choice you got. The hotel carpark was limited to 1 large or 2 med sized cars. Otherwise parking was on the streets around the hotel.
