The property and room were extremely private and quiet . The was AC in the room which was excellent. Very happy . The room was also huge . I was solo but 3 people could easily stay in it a week. Great pressure to the shower

The staff are absolutely fantastic and very accomodating. The facilities in the house were great, there is a full kitchen to cook and a really good breakfast is provided every morning. It is in a quiet location only a short walk or taxi from town.

The rooms and accommodation were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was served in a communal fashion and enjoyable with sufficient variety.

Very simple breakfast cooked by beautiful staff. Each day was slightly different and usually included a type of eggs (fried, scrambled, quiches) as well as weetbix and cornflakes, tea and coffee. Other food options changed daily including pancakes, spring rolls, donuts, jaffles.... Sitting at the communal dining table for breakfast was a nice way to meet some of the other guests if they happened to be eating at the same time. Rooms were old and dated but spacious and generally clean. We had two different rooms and both were quite different. Hubby found that in the room he was in, the mattress wasn't very comfortable and the bathroom lacked privacy because the door wouldn't close and the blinds in the bedroom wouldn't close properly, which meant that people in the neighbouring room could see into his bathroom if they were on their balcony. We didn't have any such problems with the other room. The communal living area and kitchen had couches and bookshelves and opened onto the balcony - it felt a bit like a share house which might feel uncomfortable depending on the guests staying at the time, however, we didn't have any issues and didn't see many guests using this area except for breakfast. Location was okay - had to walk what felt like a million miles up and down a very steep hill every day when we walked into the main city area, but we got used to it and we enjoyed it. We sometimes used the very cheap taxis that are EVERYWHERE, especially if it was dark.

Was very clean and the staff were great. The location was great - easily able to walk into the city and other locations when needed. Breakfast was also very good and readily available.
