Please note that camp is only accessible by four wheel drive.Transfer can be arranged for guest (without 4WD) to the camp from Al Wasil Petrol Pump. Transfer service at OMR 15/- nett for pickup and drop off from Al Maha Petrol Station "Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

- we could check in early when we arrived - activities were really cool (camel ride and 4x4 tours) - clean and spacious room - very nice staff - nice place to have lunch and dinner

Location is the key to this place, out in the desert gives a special experience. Landcruisers on hand to run you up the dunes for the sunset which is a must do. Didn't make the camel rides or the Spa but just enjoyed the place. Drive out to the resort was not bad and once done, the return was less of a concern. Just need to watch out for goats and camels. We used google maps and there is only one road so once you get on it there is no problem, providing you have 4WD. Really good evening buffet and breakfast buffet.

The information on accessing the resort was very good and at the petrol station meeting point you could get your tyres deflated for driving on the sand, if you were driving own car. The included activities ( sunset drive to top of the dune and morning camel ride), were very enjoyable. The buffet dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast

The best part of our stay in Oman! We had two nights at Desert Nights and absolutely loved it - beautiful tent, delicious food and outdoor dining area, but the highlight was all the activities - dune bashing (terrifying but fun!), quad bikes, camel rides and sunset dune trip. Everyone made us feel so welcome.

Beautiful location with ultra modern facilities. Family and kids friendly. Courteous staff at the restaurant and also the house keepers. Accommodated our last minute requests.

The camp was super nice and the tent spacious with great and comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast were good. Dinner could have been warmer, most of it was quite cold. The drive there could be done easily by ourselves. The included camel ride was really nice.

It was a unique location that gave us the full desert experience. The staff were amazing and the food was sensational. Wine selection and cocktails were also good.
