Resort Overview

Featuring colonial furnishings, The Old Kent Estates is nestled amidst an expansive 200-acre coffee plantation in Suntikoppa. Home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, it offers a spa, a games room, and complimentary Wi-Fi access in its public areas.
Spacious villas feature high ceilings and are fitted with a terrace opening out to the garden. They offer a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a wardrobe and a telephone. The en suite bathroom comes with a large standalone bathtub and a hairdryer.
Gordon's Saloon is the in-house dining, while The Planter’s Perch offers an open air "Al-Fresco" dining experience. The restaurant serves local and seasonal cuisines and a variety of Indian, Anglo-Indian and continental delicacies. Fresh estate coffee is also available. Bonfires & BBQs can be arranged on request.
The Lodge features a games room, library, home theater, dining, and an English rose garden with exciting plantations and trekking activities. Individual cottages include a private garden. Signature Old Kent Spa therapies are also available. Free private parking spaces are provided.
Old Kent is located about 14 km from Mercara (Madikeri) and the property is a two hour drive from the historic city of Mysore. The property is located 283 km from the Bangalore airport while the Mangalore airport is 156 km.
Situated in Coorg, Old Kent is accessible to all major places of interest. It is 24 km from Kushalnagar and 20 km from Dubare Elephant Camp. Madikeri is 13 km away, while the Golden Temple at the Tibetan Settlement is 25 km away.

One of the most beautiful Home stays that I have seen. Tranquil, very scenic, hospitable staff especially Sampat and Tara and the chef and waiters. Good food. Fabulous cottages with lovely chairs to awaken to birdsong while having one's morning tea! The food had ample variety and was very good. Col Wright's bungalow was a vertible museum with a fantastic library, rosewood antique furniture and heirlooms. The Perch was a great place to have our meals. A wonderful retreat in the boughs of nature amidst green coffee plantation

It was an amazingly calm and beautiful stay with good breakfast. The rooms were quite big, comfortable and clean. The toilet was also huge and clean. Staff and everything about the place was really good.

It was an amazing location. The trail to the cottage is very bad which they have to fix. It is very difficult to drive. The room was very clean and the location was just wow. It was so mesmerising you get lost in the tranquility of nature.

Every single thing is perfect! The property is one of the most beautiful places we ever visited, perfectly crafted food and what makes it the best is its amazing staff! They are so so so polite and supportive that no amount of word would be able to define their exceptional dedication towards guests! A must visit property. It has its own trails for treks, longue, library, cottages are lovely places with each one of it with its own wifi dedicated to it, huge bathroom and super clean spaces are brownie points. I dont think i can point even a single issue with this place! Value is greater that the money you will pay for this space.
