“Stay here for sleep and shower and explore the fishing village”

This isn't really a hostel. They rent out two six people dormitories and a double room. There is no reception or someone present at the property. The rooms are small but very clean. As I was the only guest in the dormitory it was a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect if you are aiming to stay a night in this fishing village. What you don't get: - kitchen - place to wash or dry your clothes - towel - community area Free water is available. Lots of electric sockets. Nice general design of the house. If you just want to sleep and get a hot shower (which is very good) then this is a good choice. For real hostel environment id suggest to just drive to Hualian city as it's cheaper and more complete.

Nanfang'ao Hostel is the only hostel in Nanfang-ao Harbor and its vicinity. It’s a typical yet good hostel. The location of the Hostel is excellent; it seems to be situated on a wharf, giving it an unobstructed view, and Nanxing Village Bus Stop is just next to the Hostel, some routes linking the Suao, Suaosin, and Luodong Train Stations pass here. The room for male guests on the third floor (U.S.) is clean and the bed is made. 6 people sharing a bathroom is slightly disproportionate in light of how much it charges but still a totally acceptable ratio. Nanfang-ao Harbor is a tourist attraction in that hustle and bustle is anticipated during the day, but the Harbor as well as the Hostel is quiet at night. The room is equipped with air tight French windows; the AC in the room is sufficiently cool, and the water pressure for shower is nice.
