The fine print
All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hostelling International (HI). Non-members must purchase the membership card at the hostel upon arrival. The DJH card for German guests costs EUR 7 for guests up to the age of 26, and EUR 22.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above (half price from June onwards) and is valid for the entire calendar year. The HI card for international guests costs EUR 18 and is valid for 1 year.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

really comfortable room for a really good price. the location is great, with transportation right by. the girl that welcomed me in reception (Ina) was super sweet and gave me all the information! however, I felt like this isn’t really a hostel but more of a “residency”. most of the staff I encountered didn’t speak a language other than german. the elevator was turned off halfway through and I had a really big bag that I had someone for help to take up. at night there was no staff in the reception, so I couldn’t grab food, cause I had no one to pay it to.

i always stay here for business in stutggart, i like the simple vibe the great views and the super friendly young staff. The walk up the hill from the station (lots of steps) gives me a lot of pleasure too

I would stay there always in my travels to Stuttgart. The location is amazingly cool, maybe the best area in the Stuttgart. The reception personal is always on the place, polite and helpful. The food is fresh, the views from the windows are totally impressive!
