The lovely generous public spaces in this hotel give it an immediately relaxing feel. It’s a time piece in some ways but it’s also like stepping back into a simpler age. Roaring fire, lovely views, charming staff and simple comfort. I feel a weight off whenever I get there.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a get-a-way from it all, recharge our batteries break. The hotel was perfect. As soon as we walked in we were calmed by the sea views and majestic pines. Such a peaceful spot. Our room was spotless, with a balcony and sea views.

Top marks for staff welcome and helpfulness, other staff were good too. Room was really. Full English breakfast was good with a great selection. Location great and facilities great.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, the owners are looking at upgrading the hotel, in my opinion this will spoil the whole atmosphere.
