it was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen area was perfect. the range of facilities was amazing: hot tub, sauna, top quality showers, dry room, bar, tree house, bbq area. the host was very accommodating and took pride in his work that he had done to the property. the price was very reasonable for two of us, i would recommend this to couples or groups of small travellers, as the place is like a fancy hostel/ hotel. 4.8/5 in my opinion.

Sven and his family welcomed us like old friends. A wonderful retreat with emphasis on well being and community. We love the concept and all the facilities are top notch. The character of the property adds to the charm. Great hosts, perfect location and stunning property. Wish them best of luck in their business and truly recommend staying at this gem.

Amazing place, excellent location and genuinely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are a little small but everything is so clean and well organised. The outside space is amazing and I would definitely return ☺️

The place is truly an experience. It’s a cabin made all out of wooden with the most amazing shared spaces you could imagine. A bar, a sauna, a fire pit, a barbecue and many lounges where to hang and meet other travelers! Do not miss this. If the shared bathroom is a concern, do not worry. They are very private and with enough room to bring your stuff and shower/get dress comfortably + very clean!

I want to call out the staff. They are not only helpful and friendly (of course they are), but are around all the time, proactively asking how your day was, how did you like your hike or wether you need something. You can have a chat with them, and they clearly do the extra mile in serving you. Anyway the lodge is at great location, it has a charming atmosphere, a nicely renovated old house (think it used to be a stable). Rooms/bathrooms are clean, it has a nicely furnished kitchen and a "chill room". You have opportunity to grill ouside, use the fireplace, sauna or hot tub.

I recently stayed at this lodge and had a generally positive experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally cheerful and welcoming, which set a pleasant tone for our stay. The environment around the property is nice and inviting, adding to the overall charm. Additionally, the availability of a kitchen with freezer space was a convenient feature, allowing us to store and prepare food easily.
