Guests should be aware before booking that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings that are all served by the Ferry Inn reception, restaurant and bar. The Harbourside House and Miller's House annexes are just a few steps across the narrow street from the main Ferry Inn building.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Very friendly and supporting staff. Had probably the room with the best view: one window directly in the opposite of the ferry terminal and pier/port and one roof window directly above my bed to watch the sky. Very near to bus station, ferry terminal and main street of Stromness. Very good scottish breakfast - I liked the salmon. The dinner in the restaurant of the hotel was good as well.

We very much liked staying at the Ferry Inn. The evening meal was delicious and the staff brilliant. It is in a great location - next to the harbour and in the middle of Stromness. We really liked the atmosphere.

This is a great place to stay in Orkney. We had a great time. The restaurant on the ground floor is one of the best on the island and it is recommended to book in advance. Breakfast was nice, too. The location is nice with available paid parking right next to the hotel.

We loved our room, it was well arranged and fitted out with everything you need; the bathroom was very good, and a pleasant surprise in its size! It was so convenient to the ferry, bus, links, and walking around the beautiful downtown streets.
