The room looks better from the inside than the house does from the outside. Beautiful porthole window in the bathroom. It was possible to move in at lunchtime already. The location is pleasantly quiet, you sleep very well. Starting point for trekking tours to the volcano, the landlord runs a trekking agency. Breakfast was good on the beautiful roof terrace with a view to Strombolicchio.

The property is slightly away from the centre (which suited us) and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The communal breakfast area has great views. The owner is very friendly.

The view from the terrace any time of the day or the night was stunning. Valentina welcomed us to the property and she was very friendly. The room had a private outside area (table & chairs) in the middle of this secret garden. The variety of plants and flowers are amazing. If you want to be in the middle of nature this is your place. You can also view the peak of Stromboli, though the activity is from the other side of the island. Don’t expect luxus, this is nature and quietness.

Cute cabin in a lovely garden setting, whimsically decorated. Excellent breakfast on the terrace with wonderful views, including great gluten free options. Great location for walking around the volcano and the town is also easily accessible.

Unexpectedly nice garden. Each room has its own entry and a terrace. Beautiful view. Simple breakfast and simple but cosy standard. Position between the town and the wild.

Very beautifully located in a green garden, cozy apartment, very friendly owners. Quiet location. Hikes to see the vulcanic activity can be booked on property. Our apartment also had a private terrace, which was very nice.

I loved the location, up in the mountain. The views were sensational and the view of the volcano looked awesome as it was so close. It was a bit of a hike with the bags but worth it. The room was traditional Italian, old but very clean. The host was lovely and really tried to communicate with us. Letting us into our room earlier. The outside area was very comfortable although at night the mosquitos came out. Breakfast was delicious and the views from the terrace were beautiful.

I loved staying at Il Giardino Segreto, set up on the hill a little away from the village with breakfast offered on a large terrace overlooking the village and sea with the volcano behind. Magnificent setting, clean, spacious room with outdoor table. Valentina and Luca are friendly, offer advice but also give you privacy.
