Great location on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, but only a 10 minute drive into the centre. The hotel is warm and inviting, with lovely furniture and bathrooms.

Continental style breakfast but perfectly adequate for my wife and I and very fresh. The warm room, the large bed, the character of the entrance and breakfast room with many old style paintings, all nicely decorated for Christmas. The young couple Abigail and Francesco were very pleasant

On the top floor it was quiet and the room was cosier than the larger rooms below. It was warm and clean. Little plate of mine pies and nibbles a nice touch at the end of Christmas day. The hotel was pet friendly and the garden was good for our dog. The christmas decorations were tastefully in keeping with the theme of the hotel.

Such a warm welcome from Nick & Sylvana, who are the most fantastic hosts. Not forgetting the 2 lovely Yorkshire terriers. The property is amazing, with how Nick & Sylvana have brought it truly to life in the most sympathetic way. Each room has it's own individual character. The most comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. This is a stay you just cannot miss, especially if you like history, ancestry & literature. The location is perfect for easy commuting into Stratford.

A beautiful house with quirky features. The handpainted walls in the entrance hall were original and stunning. Nice big room, hot shower, spotlessly clean. Lovely relaxed continental breakfast. Super friendly couple running the house. Can not fault anything and would definitely return and recommend. Great that the station was only a ten minute walk away to get into Stratford.
