Convenient location in town. We had two ground floor rooms and ample space for dog crate/bed. We didn't have the breakfast as we chose to walk round the corner into town and meet friends for breakfast. We did eat from the restaurant menu, although seated in the bar area so we could have our dog with us. Friendly and attentive bar steward. Good quality food. On site parking - charged but reasonable rate for 24 hours.

A very good breakfast but the first morning of our three we were told that we couldn’t take our assistance dog into the restaurant and had to sit outside so I was very disappointed with that. The staff could have been more helpful especially as the hotel wasn’t busy at all just before Christmas. As the weather wasn’t good we had our evening meal in the hotel but had to sit in the bar as the restaurant didn’t open at all. We thought it was expensive for what we choose.

The staff were very nice and talkative, I also liked the carpark at the hotel and at £8.50 a day was reasonable. View over the garden was nice too.

breakfast was excellent Room very tidy and clean, could have done with better tea making facilities. I felt they were quite dangerous. The kettle should have been on the top of the unit. also needed more tea bags , milk and sugar

We love the large room with double sinks bathroom. It is so spacious.and comfortable. Breakfast is lovely apart fried eggs.
