Hostel Overview

Located in Strasbourg, this hotel is just 600 metres from the Palace of the Rhine and a 15-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. It has a 24-hour reception and features a games area with billiard, air hockey and foosball.

Very nice and clean rooms. I stayed in a dorm for 6 which had two separate en-suite bathrooms which were very clean as well. Free towels provided and my bed was refreshed during my stay. Great location and friendly staff.

I had a great experience, even if I stayed only a few hours. It was better than I imagined. It was first time when I booked a hostel shared room and I was surprised how comfortable it was. The facilities in the room - the fact that the shower and the toilet were in the room make it very confortable. The bed was big enough and very confortable. The check-in was in a very nice and friendly way and the breakfast was delicious.

Clarius was a perfect place for families with small children; I was surprised because it was the first time I slept in a hostel with a small child. The location was in a quiet street and not too far from the center, you can enjoy a walk along the river. The staff was nice and ready to answer any request. The breakfast was very good. The room was cleaned every day. The best part for my child (2.4 years old), very curious was the piano area, the staff never asked him not to touch the piano (even though he doesn't know how to play the piano.)

The common areas are really nice and well decorated. Near the city center. We got an upgrade for the family suite with 3 bunk beds. There are two pianos (but only for professionals), a mini foot and a ping pong.
