The loved the old world charm of the farm house. They have retained the character beautifully. Our room was gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable bed. Host Kristin was warm and welcoming, we enjoyed talking to her about Norway and her visits to Australia.

This century home has a wonderful, warm atmosphere and country honesty that settles over you during your stay. It all flows from our host, Hege Kirsten, whose warm personality and intelligence makes Overvoll Farm unique. The dinner she served was a gastronomical extravaganza! For me it was the best meal I had during our 2 week visit to Norway. All the salads and relishes were prepared with farm fresh ingredients and to my surprise, were raw. The salmon entre' was cooked perfectly. Hege Kirsten is a very accomplished cook and has put care, thought and research into her meals. We also enjoyed excellent conversation on a range of topics.

Fabulous hosts, we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The house is beautiful, with real Norwegian charm! It was lovely to share a wonderful breakfast with other guests. We were given excellent advice about things to do in the local area.

Overvoll farm is a charming place, with stunning views, exceptional food and lots of character. It serves as a great base to visit lots of things in the vicinity.

Such a beautiful house welcomed by such a lovely host. The kitchen was well equipped, bedroom was beautiful and comfortable, we had a log fire on, in the evening, and breakfast was a 10/10 😙👌

Our host was so kind and respectful. It was enjoyable to stay in this family farm house packed with history and culture. It is also ideal for travellers who would like to meet other people. We really enjoyed dinner and breakfast which was home cooked with some fresh ingredients from the farm and chatting to lovely guests from other countries. I am vegan and my wife is vegetarian and Kristin prepared home cooked food for us which was delicious, several plates of different types and flavours, one of the best and most homely meals we had on our trip. I would recommend to other vegans travelling in Norway! The countryside in this area is worth exploring by car, the fjords, lakes and mountains are amazing.

Very nice and beautiful house, near to the road. The host Mrs. Kristen is a perfect host. She prepare a great and delicious dinner and perfect breakfast in the morning. The room was wonderful in old norvegian style and so clean. If someone wants to feel the norvegian hospitality - have to visit this place.

Felt directly like at home, nice ambiance, amazing people, especially the landlord Hege Kristine. Very tasty and healthy breakfast and dinner (both optional) - you should try. Excellent hiking possibilities to the fjord ridges and the mountains with incredible viewpoints and great walks through the woods.
