It is ideally located. Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Liked the hot tub and indoor pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the restaurant Penalty Box so close.

Lake was amazing with free kayaks. Food lovely. Staff on reception when we arrived were lovely and super helpful!

Staff were very friendly and check in was smooth. The Inn is a little outside Stowe. The place is fine for a budget night stay. A little tired and rustic but clean and comfortable. Would recommend for families traveling on a budget. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. While we didn't use the pool (indoor) or hot tub, both looked clean. There was a modest breakfast included in our room rate, which we didn't part take in. Some cereals and toast, bagels and english muffins - with condiments for breads - coffee and tea - once again, great if you are a family traveling on a budget. No fruit or yogurt or cheese :(

For the price point this is an exception hotel,it was what hotels were before chain hotels,I loved it,it brought me back to a time before smart phones ,when people gathered around the fireplace after a day skiing and just enjoyed the time away,huge lobby with great sitting areas,was it dated....who cares,it was an experience that was prior to the the worst invention ever made .....the cell phone. Two pools ,large rooms,friendly people, I can not say enough about this hotel except I wish I had seen it when I was young because it would have been a destination in Stowe,you can still see the grandure of that still today and I think it's spectacular

Breakfast was a Continental breakfast. There was a restaurant on site, but not owned by the hotel. The Restaurant on site was not open for breakfast.
